Information Literacy Programme (S4)

The programme, organized by The Hong Kong Press Council, aimed to help S4 students know more about the rights and responsibilities when reading the news through mass media. A talk and a workshop were held with the theme “How Media Monitors the Government”. The participating students learnt about why the media is called “The Fourth Right” and investigated a case in which both the public’s right to know and privacy had to be considered.
