Visit to Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant

5 of our Student Environmental Protection Ambassadors visited the Daya Bay Nuclear Power Plant as part of a programme organized by the Environment and Ecology Bureau. Daya Bay, being the mainland's first large-scale commercial nuclear power plant, plays a crucial role in advancing nuclear technology and supporting Hong Kong’s carbon neutrality goals. This visit not only provided our students with an in-depth understanding of our nation's nuclear energy development and strategic energy policies, but also enhanced their awareness on sustainable development and nuclear security.
